Driver rescued after being stranded on flooded SUV

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh fire crews rescued a woman who was stranded on her flooded SUV Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred at Gideon Creek Way at Durham Drive when the driver drove into the flooded area and proceeded to get on her roof.

A Raleigh fire truck ladder was used to have her climb to safety around 2:45 p.m.

There were no injuries.
