Woman killed in Fayetteville accident

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A Dunn woman was killed in an accident in Fayetteville early Wednesday morning.

It happened just before 1 a.m. on Country Club Drive at Harveydale Drive.

Authorities said 29-year-old Alexandria Cameron ran off the road and into a wooded area.

Cameron was the only person in the vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where she later died.

Officers are investigating the crash and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
