Southbound lanes of the Durham freeway reopen after truck overturns

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Southbound lanes of the Durham freeway have reopened after being closed due to a serious accident.

Authorities said that a dump truck overturned at about 11:57 a.m. on Sunday.

One man was injured and transported to the hospital, according to officials. Police have not released his condition or the extent of his injuries.

Exit 13 near Chapel Hill Street was closed. It later reopened around 3 p.m.
