Durham police could be seen in the McDougald Terrace area -- with their weapons drawn -- as they conduct an 'investigation' Sunday afternoon.

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police conducted an investigation in Durham's McDougald Terrace on Sunday afternoon.

Durham police have since cleared the scene and reopened traffic to the area.

Officials did not specify what operation was being carried out in the area.
