Two Durham police officers injured after vehicle slams into patrol car

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Two Durham police officers are in the hospital following a crash Thursday morning.

Authorities said the incident happened before 9 a.m. on Holloway Street near Adams Street.

Reports show the two officers were inside of the patrol car when another driver slammed into them from behind.

Officials said the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

Police have not identified anyone involved.
