New class of Durham K-9 officers sworn in

DURHAM, N.C. -- Eight new K-9 officers were sworn into the Durham County Sheriff's Office Wednesday.
The dogs were all accompanied by their human officer counterparts.
Sheriff Clarence F. Birkhead swore in the new deputies.
The K-9s are trained to detect drugs, explosives and humans.
