2 surrender after standoff outside Durham home

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people were taken into custody after an hours-long standoff at a home on Eva Street in Durham.

Authorities had been at the scene of the home since 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning

Durham officials said an armed robbery had occurred in the 900 block Holloway Street.

The suspects fled to Eva Street and barricaded themselves inside the residence, officials said.

The two suspects surrendered to officers around 7 a.m.

So far, authorities have identified Anthony Jones, 40, as being one of the men arrested in connection with the robbery.
