Power outage forces 4 Johnston County schools to close Thursday

JOHNSTON CO., N.C. (WTVD) -- Multiple schools in Johnston County are closed Thursday.

Johnston County Public Schools reports North Johnston High, North Johnston Middle, Glendale-Kenly Elementary and Micro Elementary are without power and heat.

All of those schools will close for the day.

Buses will not run for students in those schools.

Parents and guardians are being asked to pick up their students if they've already been transported to the schools.
