RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A teacher at a Raleigh private school is accused of taking inappropriate photos of students.

Scott Anthony Mann, 37, of Durham, is charged with taking indecent liberties with a child.

Arrest warrants allege the victims were under the age of 16 and the incidents happened between September and November.

Mann was a teacher at St. David's School - an independent Episcopal school in Raleigh - that has students K-12 at its campus on White Oak Road.

Sources tell ABC11 the photos were taken in a boy's bathroom.

In a statement, St. David's said it received a complaint on Nov. 19 and took immediate action, putting Mann on administrative leave pending an investigation. Mann was fired Monday prior to his arrest.

"We are cooperating fully with law enforcement amid this ongoing investigation, while keeping the safety and well being of our students as our highest priority," said the school.

Mann is also the associate director of the North Carolina Boys Choir.

He's additionally listed under staff on the Asbury United Methodist Church website, which is not affiliated with the St. David's school.

"Our personnel team met this morning having just recently learned about this. We have placed him on administrative leave. I am praying for all concerned. He does not work with children at the church. He worked part-time as adult choir director," said Asbury Lead Pastor Terry Bryant.

Mann appeared before a judge in Raleigh Wednesday morning. His bond was set at $60,000 and he was released.
