The holidays are nearly here and that means the Carolina Ballet is putting on a classic performance of The Nutcracker in Raleigh.
"This is our 15th anniversary production of the Nutcracker," explained Carolina Ballet Executive Director Nate McGaha.
"We're exciting to be opening it up at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium," he said.
The Nutcracker runs from December 16 - December 24 at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. To save on tickets, December 21 is the day set aside to give back and save at the same time. Bring five cans to donate to the Raleigh Rescue Mission and you will save $15 dollars off your ticket.
"Carolina Ballet is an organization that relies on the community and depends on the community and Raleigh Rescue Mission is providing a service to the mission that's so vital to the success of Raleigh and the Triangle and we're really happy to be able to give back to the community that's done so much for us," McGaha said.
Students who present a valid college ID can get a reduced ticket for $20 dollars. and on Dec. 23 and 24, the first 50 kids in the door will get a free holiday ornament.
