Rolling Stones tour to stop in Raleigh this summer

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Promoters say the Rolling Stones "ZIP CODE" tour will stop at Raleigh's Carter-Finley Stadium on July 1.

The 15-city North America tour kicks off May 24 in San Diego.

"We are excited to be back in North America playing stadiums this summer! We are looking forward to being back on stage and playing your favorite songs," said singer Mick Jagger in a news release announcing the tour dates.

The group promises classic Stones hits such as "Gimme Shelter", "Paint It Black", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Tumbling Dice" and "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll".
