After 6 boys, Apex mom now has a daughter
APEX, N.C. (WTVD) -- Remember the Apex mom who had the adorable reaction when she learned she was having a daughter?
We went back to see how they're doing.
Mom Cher Lair and her husband Stephen had six boys and a seventh child on the way when we first met her in April.
In video posted to YouTube, Cher started screaming, fell to the floor, and almost couldn't believe she saw pink when she cut the cake at a gender reveal party.
Well now Cher is at home with daughter Ruby Jane and they're doing great. When we visited, she was surprisingly calm with her brood of boys around her and her baby in her arms.
"I don't have enough hands and eyes to see all the terror and damage they're causing, but as much as you love your one, and your second, your third - like the Grinch - his heart grew 3 sizes that day," she said. "Your capacity to love grows."
