Teens killed in Cumberland County crash
Speed was a factor, troopers said.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY (WTVD) -- The NC Highway Patrol said speed was a factor in a single-car crash Friday afternoon that left two teenagers dead in Cumberland County.

It happened a little after 2 p.m. at Butler Nursery Road and Tyson Plantation Road in Cumberland County.

Troopers said an Acura driven by Cameron Ray Booher, 19, of Fayetteville was traveling north when it crossed the center line, traveled off onto the northbound shoulder and struck a tree.

Booher, and a passenger, identified as Nicholas Miles Roy, 18, also of Fayetteville, died at the scene.
