Recall issued for Fayetteville pharmacy products

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The FDA and the N.C. Board of Pharmacy have issued a recall for products made by a lab in Fayetteville.

Officials are urging health care professionals, including veterinarians, and patients not to use products made and distributed by the Prescription Center pharmacy, located at 915 Hay St.

The board ordered the pharmacy closed and the recall after its inspectors determined the lab wasn't testing its products to ensure sterility, stability and potency.
