FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Fayetteville Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Thursday evening in the 5900 block of Cliffdale Road.
It happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found 30-year-old McKinley Summers in a vehicle with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in critical condition, where he died from his injuries.
The Fayetteville/Cumberland County Crimestoppers program is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
