Teen charged with rape in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Detectives in Fayetteville have arrested a teen in a rape investigation.

Police said the incident happened Tuesday in the 1900 block of Cedar Creek Road.

Jaykeen Primus, 19, was arrested and charged with 2 counts of 1st degree forcible rape, 1st degree sexual offense, and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police said he knew the victim.

He was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $600,000 bond.
