FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville Police are looking for a man they say sexually assaulted a woman in the middle of the afternoon. It happened Sunday around 4:30 in the 5200 block of Raeford Road.

Investigators say a man driving a white work van approached the victim and offered his help. The victim got into the van and he drove her somewhere else where she was sexually assaulted.

Police released a sketch of the man they want to arrest. They say he's about 30 years old. He has a muscular build and stands 6-feet-tall and weighs 170 to 180 pounds.

The man has dirty blonde hair with a ponytail and a mustache. There's a mole on the left side of his face and tattooed lips on the left side of his neck. Police say he possibly walks with a limp.

The white work van has double doors on the back and a ladder rack on the roof. The van has a magnetic sign on the passenger door with black lettering and no seats in the back.

If you recognize the man, you're asked to call Detective D. Kocher with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 703-0576 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
