Robbery near Fayetteville State University causes precautionary lockdown for students

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Fayetteville State University went on lockdown Wednesday night when a robbery was reported near the college's campus.

Officials said the lockdown was a precautionary measure enacted as the university's police department investigated the emergency.
