Fayetteville man charged with statutory rape of 14-year-old

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department says it has charged a 23-year-old man with the statutory rape of a 14-year-old.

Detectives with the FPD's Special Victims Unit said it happened in June.

Kotasha Glenroy Griffith is also charged with indecent liberties.

Griffith turned himself in Monday. He was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
