Cumberland County man wins $300K Cash 5 jackpot

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A Fayetteville man is celebrating after he won a $309,682 Cash 5 jackpot.

Augustus Webber beat the odds to match all five numbers in the Dec. 17 drawing.

He claimed his prize Thursday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $215,232.

Webber bought the $1 Quick Pick ticket at Kim's Smoker and Tobacco on Bonanza Drive in Fayetteville.
