How to get Costco deals without a membership
Costco is known for great deals, which is why it is one of the most successful big box stores around.
But, if you don't spring for the membership, there are still a few ways to take advantage of Costco's great deals.
Kristin Cook with ultimatecoupons.com says if you have a friend or family member take you, you can purchase a cash card for later use.
"So, if you load that with a couple hundred dollars you can come back later on your own and get into Costco just using that Costco cash card," Cook explained.
"You can also use it online to get their member pricing. So, it's a good way to shop, especially if you maybe want to go a couple of times a year," Cook said. "Just get a gift card like that and maybe stock up for a party or whatever you need."
Cook says you can use the cash card to shop online for Costco deals including savings on things like gym memberships and amusement parks.
She says you can also take advantage of Costco's health screenings and pharmacy even if you aren't a member.
"They're pretty cheap," she said. "They're known to be some of the best prices out there. So, it's something to look into if you have a lot of prescriptions you need to get filled every month."
And, in some states, anyone of age can shop for alcohol. So, Cook says if you are traveling this summer and need to buy in bulk for an event, check and see if the local Costco has open alcohol sales.
