FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville firefighters battled a house fire on on Sunday morning.
Crews said it happened at 4205 Colton Drive, a single-story home. Multiple units responded to the fire.
Everyone got out of the building safely, included the family dog. Firefighters treated the dog for smoke inhalation with oxygen.
The fire started in the kitchen and it thought to be cooking-related. The Red Cross was not called for assistance to the family.
Firefighters said no further investigation will be done.
