Fire breaks out in old Fayetteville trailer park

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A large fire broke out Friday night in an old Fayetteville mobile home park, located near a major retail area.

Firefighters responding to the Leisure Living Estates lot around 7 p.m. found a structure near the entrance at Cliffdale Road and Leisure Lane was fully engulfed.

It's unclear how the fire started. No one was injured.

Leisure Living Estates recently shut down to make room for retail development along the Skibo Road corridor.

The last of its residents moved out in October.
