HOKE COUNTY, NC (WTVD) -- A Hoke County man is now facing a first degree murder charge, after deputies say he stabbed and killed a man Tuesday.
Deputies arrested Desmond Cook, 33, shortly after they say he was identified as the possible suspect in the investigation.
According to law enforcement, Cook stabbed the victim in his home around 2 a.m. Tuesday. The victim died at the scene.
Cook is in custody at the Hoke County Detention Center. He received no bond.
