Fort Bragg soldier sentence for stealing from post

FORT BRAGG, NC (WTVD) -- A Fort Bragg soldier was sentenced Wednesday for years of stealing from post.

Military officials said Christopher Mann took more than $1 million worth of food and equipment between 2010 and 2013.

Officials said Mann's job was to order supplies. He reportedly manipulated orders to gain additional equipment which he then sold on the black market.

Mann was sentenced to 20 months in prison and ordered to pay more than $940,000 back to the Army.
