FRANKLIN COUNTY (WTVD) -- Franklin County has had their water restored after a long outage Saturday.
Water service was restored around 11 p.m. Saturday night following hours of work.
Officials said the county has two water tanks. One of them was not operating due to repairs being done on it. The other had a break in the water line which drained the tank and caused the outage, according to authorities.
Franklinton Mayor Elic Senter warned that restoration could be a slow process. Those without water were urged not to call 911, as crews were aware of the situation and working to remedy it.
