Fraternity investigating alleged sexual assault at house near NCSU
Delta Upsilon said they are assisting authorities

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The fraternity Delta Upsilon said they are working with authorities after a sexual assault was reported at the local chapter's house near N.C. State University after midnight Sunday.

In a Wolf Alert, authorities said it happened around 12:30 a.m. at the house in the 100 block of Chamberlain Street.

Neighbors said there was a large Halloween party.

The alleged victim reported it to police herself.

The fraternity said, in part, "At this time, it appears both the alleged victim and suspect were guests at the chapter house. Delta Upsilon strives to create a safe environment for all members and guests. Our investigation into the alleged incident will help us determine any next steps."

The suspect is described as a light complexioned black male who was wearing a sleeveless shirt.
