Investigators say they believe a lightning strike triggered a massive explosion in Denton, Texas Thursday night.

No one was hurt when a natural gas well blew up.

The huge fireball could be seen for miles.

Also in Denton, storm chasers captured video of tornadoes forming over the town.

There were no reports of serious injuries.

CAT "RESCUE"

Folks in Lafayette, Wisconsin say a stray cat was stuck up in a tree so long they thought it was time to help.

A tree service used a bucket truck, but that's when the cat apparently decided to use one of its nine lives.

The feline jumped from 40 feet up in the year, landed unhurt, and hasn't been seen since.
