Halloween thief caught on camera stealing candy

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- It didn't take long for Durham residents to find out what happened after they noticed their candy bucket was missing.

They found the answer to the mystery on video recorded by their "Ring" doorbell camera. It caught a candy crook in the act.

The recording shows a man get out of his SUV and walk up the candy bowl left outside for trick-or-treaters.

He then snatches it, runs back to his car and speeds away.
