DHHS: At least 76 of NC's hospitals have run through Ebola drill
State health officials have been preparing for the possibility of an Ebola case in North Carolina.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- On Wednesday, state health officials gave an update on preparations for the possibility of an Ebola case in North Carolina.

The DHHS is shooting a video to show workers how to handle an Ebola patient who's in isolation.

Officials say in the past week, they've trained an additional 500 healthcare professionals on Ebola response, and six more hospitals have run through drills.

That means most North Carolina hospitals have now had some kind of training on Ebola response.

There are still no known or suspected cases of the deadly virus in North Carolina.
