Frozen green beans recalled after bag tests positive for listeria

Check your freezers. General Mills on Friday issued a voluntary recall of frozen green beans after one bag tested positive for listeria.

According to General Mills, the recall is limited to 16-ounce bags of frozen Cascadian Farm Cut Green Beans with a 'better if used by' date of June 29, 2017.

The beans were distributed nationwide. So far, there have been no illnesses reported.

The product was distributed to retail establishments nationwide.

If you have this product, you're advised to dispose of them and call Cascadian Farms consumer relations at 1-800-624-4123 for a replacement.
