Horses rescued from flood waters

HOUSTON, Texas (WTVD) -- Deputies in the Houston area saved dozens of horses from drowning in their stables.

They first used boats to reach the stranded animals, but then jumped into the water to lead them to higher ground.

The animals were clearly scared by the experience, but none died.

The Houston area has seen torrential rain in recent days.
