Raleigh house damaged by fire

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Fire damaged a house in Raleigh Wednesday evening.

It happened on Chipmunk Lane between Ridge Road and the Beltline.

The fire chief said flames were showing when they arrived, but it didn't take long to get the fire under control.

Neighbors said the house was under renovation and the owners were out of town.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
