I-540 reopens after overturned car closed eastbound lanes

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Interstate 540 has reopened near Falls of Neuse Road after a wreck closed the interstate.

The crash happened at 3:50 p.m. on eastbound I-540 near the Falls of Neuse exit (exit 14), officials say.

Officials said a vehicle flipped over and a person has been transported to Wake Med with non-life-threatening injuries.
