John Stamos arrested for alleged DUI in Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- "Full House" actor John Stamos was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Friday night in Beverly Hills.

At about 7:45 p.m., Beverly Hills police received numerous calls of a possible DUI driver near Canon Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard.

Officers stopped Stamos at Beverly Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard. He was taken to a hospital because of a medical condition.

After investigation at the hospital, Stamos was arrested and issued a citation for DUI. He was released to the care of the hospital.

Stamos is scheduled to be in court on September 11.
