RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Kids in Raleigh got a chance to check out some big trucks as part of a fundraising event on Saturday.
The Junior League in Raleigh held its first ever Touch a Truck event. Children of all ages got an all-access pass to explore and climb inside trucks, emergency vehicles, and heavy machinery. Some of vehicles came from the Raleigh Fire Department, the Raleigh Police Department, and Wake County EMS.
Kids also got to meet the people who build, protect, and serve their communities.
The Junior League says they hope the event will become an annual fundraiser.
