PHILADELPHIA -- A maintenance truck crashed into a plane bound for Raleigh Friday afternoon.

It happened at the Philadelphia International Airport.

According to American Airlines, a ground service vehicle backed into a plane that was parked at the gate.

No passengers were on the plane at the time and the driver was not injured.

The passengers headed for Raleigh boarded another plane to continue their journey.
