Man arrested in North Raleigh shooting

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that left one man injured in north Raleigh Sunday afternoon.

Police have charged 27-year-old Angelo Dionte Moody with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, first degree kidnapping, and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Wake Towne Drive.

According to police, Carlos JuJuan Todd, 23, was found at the scene suffering from two gunshot wounds.

Todd has been transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officers said.
