Women take stand against violence with march through Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A group of women called for an end to violence with a silent march through Durham Saturday.

Organizers said the march was designed to bring people together and stand against violence in all its forms.

The women say violence had destroyed families and communities. The marchers said they hoped their steps could show solidarity with those who have been hurt.
