Free virtual doctor visits for Matthew victims in NC
RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Thousands in North Carolina affected by Hurricane Matthew damage and flooding can take advantage of free virtual doctor visits.
The state's only independent telehealth service, RelyMD, is offering free virtual doctor visits to North Carolina residents affected by Matthew who need non-emergency care.
"We're hopeful that by providing these free visits, we can aid in reducing the burden at hospitals in the areas hit hardest, and also grant access to medical care to those who may not be able to get to their doctor or hospital easily because of flooding or storm damage," said Dr. Bobby Park, co-founder of RelyMD.
The free virtual doctor visits require the promo code MATTHEW. The code is valid until 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 31, 2016.
