PHILADELPHIA -- Native Nations Dance Theater is Philadelphia's only indigenous, professional dance company.

The company was created by Vaughnda Hilton in 1991 after her son's teacher invited her to speak to his Kindergarten class about the true history of Native Americans.

The company's mission is to educate people about Native American History through dance and entertainment.
