NAMIWalks North Carolina celebrates 13th anniversary

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Skies were overcast but the crowd was enthusiastic for the 2017 North Carolina National Alliance on Mental Illness Walk on the grounds of Dorthea Dix Hospital in Raleigh Saturday morning.

It was the 13th annual walk put on by NAMI.

The group works with chapters around the country to help raise money and awareness for area agencies and to help fight the stigma involved with mental illness.
