Van collides with tanker truck in Durham

DURHAM -- A van collided with a tanker truck on NC-55 in Durham County, shutting down traffic overnight Sunday.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday near Riddle Road.

The van was wedged under the tanker, but our crew on the scene said no one was seriously hurt.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
