Arrest in NCSU thefts
NCSU Police charged Curtis Louis Sangster with multiple crimes, including first degree burglary.

RALEIGH -- NCSU police have charged Curtis Louis Sangster with multiple crimes, including two counts of first degree burglary.

Sangster, 44, of Durham, was charged on four counts of felony larceny related to incidents that prompted campus crime alerts last weekend. The alerts were sent Saturday.

Investigators believe Sangster took wallets after entering two unlocked, occupied rooms: one at Syme Hall, and the other at the NC State Avent Ferry Complex.

Police say no one was injured.

Sangster also faces one count of felony breaking or entering, and two counts of attempted first degree burglary.

He is being held on a $1 million bond.

Anyone who still has information about the incidents should call NCSU Police at (919) 515-3000.
