1 dead, 3 hurt in crash northeast of Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A crash at Baywood Road and Murphy Road northeast of Fayetteville has left one person dead and 3 more hurt.

Pictures from the scene showed a septic tank service truck and an SUV were involved.

Investigators said the driver of the SUV - Sheila Taylor - ran a stop sign and hit the truck.

The truck - with three people inside - flipped on its side. The driver - Darrick Carter - was ejected and killed.

The two others in the truck and Taylor were hospitalized.
