1 shot outside Cumberland County club

CUMBERLAND COUNTY (WTVD) -- The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left one injured outside of a night club on Sunday.

Authorities said that the shooting happened in the 4300 block of Cumberland Road, near Club Xotic.

When deputies arrived on the scene they found a vehicle damaged by stray bullets.

Around 2 a.m. the Cape Fear Valley Hospital called deputies to inform them about a victim that was injured during the shooting.

Detectives spoke to the victim, 20-year-old Keyon Hill. He was being treated for a gunshot wound that hit the top of his head.

Hill was unable to provide any details on a suspect.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
