One killed in crash south of Garner

GARNER, NC (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash south of Garner early Saturday morning.

It happened just before 2 a.m. on Pierce Road near Nicklaus Drive in Johnston County.

Troopers say the driver of a BMW lost control, hit a wall, and the car flipped over.

The driver was ejected and landed under the car.

He was the only occupant of the vehicle. His name has not been released.
