Man charged with Fayetteville rape

The Fayetteville Police Department has charged a 50-year-old with first-degree rape in a sex assault Tuesday morning.

It happened around 4 a.m. near the area of Person Street and Eastern Blvd.

Boyd Douglas Marsh II was already charged with kidnapping in the incident.

Bond was set at $1.5 million.
