Country music star joins movement to honor volunteer fire departments

Country Music star Craig Morgan will join Kidde Fire Safety to announce an initiative that goes beyond raising awareness of the importance of home fire safety and also focuses on the importance of supporting volunteer fire departments nationwide.

Morgan, a former first responder, will be joined by national and local fire service leaders to announce a program that encourages civilians to learn more about their local department, and recognizes current volunteers who have gone above and beyond with their service.

The campaign will also help bring working smoke alarms into thousands of homes as Kidde will donate Worry-Free smoke alarms to select fire departments along Morgan's 2016 tour.
