RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A power outage early Friday morning caused hundreds in the Five Points area of Raleigh to wake up in the dark.

Traffic lights were out along part of Glenwood Avenue near Fairview Road and Harvey Street around 5:15 a.m.

At the height of the outage, over 850 customers were in the dark near the Hayes Barton neighborhood and the west side of Glenwood Avenue, according to Duke Energy.

Power was restored around 6:30 a.m. It is unclear what caused the outage.
